Meraux Elementary School is a 122,000 square foot school in Chalmette, located just off of Paris Road.  As is with the majority of our school projects, it is designed with student circulation, security and flood mitigation as highest priorities. The school includes typical administration spaces, classrooms, a cafetorium, secure outdoor play areas, as well as a full size gymnasium. A unique feature of the school is an attached clock tower. The Meraux family, after which the school is being named, has one of the largest clock collections in the world, the clock tower is a representation of their family history.
