Education

The Lacoste Elementary School is situated on a compact suburban site amidst an existing neighborhood. The school features a two story classroom building, gymnasium, resource center, music room, art room, computer labs, and a full complement of administration offices and support spaces. Like many of our other schools in South Louisiana, the design includes flood-resistant materials and proven flood mitigation concepts throughout. The building's positioning on the site allows for secure outdoor play space and ample on-site parking with separate covered drive areas for each bus and car traffic.
