Rich History

Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home recently completed a full restoration of the Canal Street property including construction of the new J. Garic Schoen Memorial Chapel. The new chapel will augment the funeral home’s already rich history in the New Orleans community of providing the highest standard services to all. The new chapel was designed by Lachin Architects, APC (LA) and built by FHMyers Construction. The project was especially meaningful to LA, since its predecessor firm had performed earlier renovations to the funeral home. As it stands, Schoen Funeral Home is widely recognized as a unique architectural landmark within the City of New Orleans.
