Expanding Student Spaces
The Chalmette High School Campus Renovations and Additions Project was completed in late 2015. The project required careful demolition and renovation of existing buildings damaged by hurricane Katrina, as well as large scale additions to the campus allowing for significant future growth. One of the many challenges associated with renovating the existing campus included overseeing a complex program of phased construction. Classroom buildings were continuously being vacated, renovated, and reinstated in a phased approach in order to minimize disruption of ongoing school activities and maintain full student occupancy.
