The Chalmette High School Field House & Gym project included the construction of two sports training facilities, one for general sports, and one for baseball and softball. The 40,000 square foot general sports facility consisted of locker rooms, a training room, a weight room, coaching offices, meeting rooms, and a gymnasium featuring an elevated indoor track. The facility overlooks the existing Chalmette High School Football Field. The 11,000 square foot baseball/softball facility houses spaces utilized by both the Chalmette High School baseball and softball teams. Those spaces include separate locker rooms for baseball and softball, coaches’ rooms, meeting rooms, and a fully conditioned indoor training area. The facility was constructed adjacent to both the renovated baseball stadium and new softball field.
